MONAXA ACCOUNT GUIDE

Monaxa Bonus Account vs Standard Account: Which to Start With

For the Monaxa bonus, use the dedicated bonus account. If you use an EA or a VPS, a standard account is the usual choice. Stop-out and leverage differ. Here is how to decide which one to start with.

Written and checked by the FX TEXTBOOK editorial officeLast updated: Sources checked: Conditions checked on 2 September 2026 (official terms and bonus page). On 30 October 2026 we checked the general conditions on the official Bonus and Rewards page. How to switch accounts is not stated on the official site

Monaxa's bonus account is a dedicated account for receiving the 30% Lifetime or $50 Welcome bonus. Its stop-out is 30% and maximum leverage is 1:500, stricter than a standard account (20%, up to 1:2000).

In short: how to choose between a bonus account and a standard account

  • You want the bonus: use the dedicated bonus account. A standard account gets none.
  • You use EAs, a VPS or scalping: consider a standard account.
  • You want high leverage: a standard account. Bonus accounts start at up to 1:500 and go lower.
  • You withdraw often: a standard account. On a bonus account, withdrawals reduce the credit.
  • If unsure: check the terms and ask support before depositing. Welcome is for clients who have not yet deposited.

A bonus adds to your trading funds, but the conditions are stricter. You can also lose all of it through losses.

Which to open: three steps to decide

  1. 01
Decide the platform and method you will use

If you use EAs, a VPS or scalping, a standard account is a candidate. For discretionary trading only, a bonus account is also an option.

  2. 02
Estimate the value of the bonus

Welcome gives $50 for a $25 deposit, and Lifetime is 30% of your deposit. Allow for reductions from withdrawals and conditions.

  3. 03
    Understand the stop-out difference

A bonus account stops out at 30%, so positions close sooner than on a standard account. Keep your trading size modest.

Trading involves risk

If you raise your trading size because of the bonus, losses can exceed the benefit. Decide within an amount you can afford to lose.

Switching accounts, and what to do if you deposited to the wrong one

  • The bonus itself cannot be withdrawn or transferred between accounts.
  • Transfers out of a Welcome Bonus account to other accounts at the company are not allowed.
  • For Lifetime, funds deposited to a standard account become eligible if you transfer them to the dedicated account (terms FAQ 4).
  • Welcome is for clients who have 'never deposited' under the terms. How it is handled if you deposit to a standard account first is not stated officially.
  • Other switching steps are not stated on the official site.

If you deposit to the wrong account, contact support before you start trading.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is a Monaxa bonus account?

It is a dedicated account for receiving the 30% Lifetime or $50 Welcome bonus. It is USD only, and there is a Lifetime Bonus account and a Welcome Bonus account. Deposits to Standard, Pro, Zero or Cent are not eligible for the bonus.

How do bonus accounts and standard accounts differ?

A bonus account has a 30% stop-out, and leverage starts at up to 1:500 and is reduced in stages. Trading via VPS is banned. A standard account has a 20% stop-out and up to 1:2000, with no bonus.

Which account suits EAs or scalping?

Trading via VPS is banned on bonus accounts. Scalping and high-frequency trading may also lead to the bonus being cancelled. If you plan to run an EA, consider a standard account. Read the terms before you deposit.

Can I switch from a bonus account to a standard account?

The bonus itself cannot be transferred between accounts. Transfers out of a Welcome Bonus account to other accounts are also not allowed (checked on 2 September 2026). Other switching steps are not stated officially, so ask support.

Can I withdraw profits from a bonus account?

Profits and your deposit can be withdrawn, but the bonus itself cannot. Withdrawing removes the bonus in proportion to the balance. Withdrawals from a bonus account are not eligible for instant withdrawal.
